No problem! In-store and store pickup both mean allowing customers to buy online, then go to their local store to actually pick up their purchase so they get it quicker (we need to delete one of those terms). Pre-store decisions are knowing what you want to buy before you go to the store, in-store decisions means people are waiting until they’re in the store to decide. Big-ticket means expensive.

    Dear David,

Thank you very much about the talent infographic.

I just don’t know clearly meaning of “in-store pickup, “store pickup”, “pre-store decisions”, “in-store decision”, “big-ticket” (I am so sorry, I am a Vietnamese, not familiar with shopping words).

    Regards.

Amazing infographic. I know how much work goes into putting these together so I really appreciate it.

Why price is considered a “store feature” rather than a factor influencing purchase?
Actually, the distinction between the two sets of factors is unclear to me.
Also, “online purchase” as a “store feature” is somewhat vague…

Hi Alastair, it’s referring to the same thing.

What is the difference between “In-Store Pickup” and “Store Pickup” ?
    Is this a mistake?

57% less likely to purchase products made in China? “Ask a silly question and you’ll get a silly answer”. You can’t ask people if the label matter, of course they want to be seen as good citizens and says that it matters. The truth is that price matters and we all know most stuff is made in China. Any form of statistics based on such questions will be plain wrong.

Good info, but often people will tend to say one thing but actually do another.

For example, they tend to go straight for the lowest prices no matter where the item is made. The majority may also say they choose to purchase USA made products but when it’s time to lay the money on the line they will almost always choose china made products if they think they are saving a few cents.

In general, the majority go straight for the cheapest price as long as they are confident in the reputation of the store they are purchasing from. See this time and time again.
